حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَن لَيْثٍ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ أَبَا بُرْدَةَ يُحَدِّثُ ، عَن أَبِيهِ ، قَالَ : إِنَّ أُنَاسًا مَرُّوا عَلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِجِنَازَةٍ ، يُسْرِعُونَ بِهَا ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " لِتَكُونَ عَلَيْكُمْ السَّكِينَةُ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Musa (may Allah be pleased with him) that once some people passed quickly with a funeral in front of the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: One should walk with calmness.
