حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ ، حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا رَجُلٌ مِنَ الْأَنْصَارِ ، أَنَّ أَبَا بَكْرِ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ قَيْسٍ حَدَّثَهُ ، أَنَّ أَبَاهُ حَدَّثَهُ ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " كَانَ يُكْثِرُ زِيَارَةَ الْأَنْصَارِ خَاصَّةً وَعَامَّةً ، فَكَانَ إِذَا زَارَ خَاصَّةً ، أَتَى الرَّجُلَ فِي مَنْزِلِهِ ، وَإِذَا زَارَ عَامَّةً ، أَتَى الْمَسْجِدَ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Musa (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to meet with the Ansar both in private and in general gatherings frequently. If it was a private meeting, he would go to the concerned person's house, and if it was a general meeting, he would go to the mosque.
