حَدَّثَنَا حَدَّثَنَا هَاشِمٌ ، حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ الْحَمِيدِ ، حَدَّثَنِي شَهْرٌ ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو طَيْبَةَ ، قَالَ : إِنَّ شُرَحْبِيلَ بْنَ السِّمْطِ دَعَا عَمْرَو بْنَ عَبَسَةَ السُّلَمِيَّ ، فَقَالَ : يَا ابْنَ عَبَسَةَ ، هَلْ أَنْتَ مُحَدِّثِي حَدِيثًا سَمِعْتَهُ أَنْتَ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَيْسَ فِيهِ تَزَيُّدٌ وَلَا كَذِبٌ ، وَلَا تُحَدِّثْنِيهِ عَنْ آخَرَ سَمِعَهُ مِنْهُ غَيْرِكَ ؟ قَالَ : نَعَمْ ، سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ : إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ يَقُولُ : " قَدْ حَقَّتْ مَحَبَّتِي لِلَّذِينَ يَتَحَابُّونَ مِنْ أَجْلِي ، وَحَقَّتْ مَحَبَّتِي لِلَّذِينَ يَتَصَافُّونَ مِنْ أَجْلِي ، وَحَقَّتْ مَحَبَّتِي لِلَّذِينَ يَتَزَاوَرُونَ مِنْ أَجْلِي ، وَحَقَّتْ مَحَبَّتِي لِلَّذِينَ يَتَبَاذَلُونَ مِنْ أَجْلِي ، وَحَقَّتْ مَحَبَّتِي لِلَّذِينَ يَتَنَاصَرُونَ مِنْ أَجْلِي " .
Abu Taybah says that once Shurahbil bin Simt called Hazrat Amr bin Abasah (may Allah be pleased with him) and said, "O son of Abasah (may Allah be pleased with him)! Can you narrate to me any such hadith which you yourself heard from the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him), in which there is no addition, omission, or falsehood, and you are not narrating it from someone else who heard it from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him)?" He replied, "Yes! I heard the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) say: Allah Almighty says: My love is assured for those who love each other for My sake; My love is assured for those who form rows for My sake; My love is assured for those who meet each other for My sake; My love is assured for those who spend on each other for My sake; and My love is assured for those who help each other for My sake."
