حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي حُسَيْنٍ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنِي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ أَبِي مُلَيْكَةَ ، عَنْ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ ، قَالَ : صَلَّيْتُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الْعَصْرَ ، فَلَمَّا سَلَّمَ ، قَامَ سَرِيعًا ، فَدَخَلَ عَلَى بَعْضِ نِسَائِهِ ، ثُمَّ خَرَجَ ، وَرَأَى مَا فِي وُجُوهِ الْقَوْمِ مِنْ تَعَاجُبِهِمْ لِسُرْعَتِهِ ، قَالَ : " ذَكَرْتُ وَأَنَا فِي الصَّلَاةِ تِبْرًا عِنْدَنَا ، فَكَرِهْتُ أَنْ يُمْسِيَ أَوْ يَبِيتَ عِنْدَنَا ، فَأَمَرْتُ بِقَسْمِهِ " . .
It is narrated from Hazrat Uqbah bin Harith (may Allah be pleased with him) that once I performed the Asr prayer with the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). After concluding the prayer with salam, the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) quickly stood up and went into the room of one of his noble wives. After a short while, he came out and saw that signs of astonishment were visible on the faces of the people. He said: "During the prayer, I remembered that a piece of silver was left with us. I did not like that it should remain with us until evening or night, so I have ordered it to be distributed." The previous hadith is also narrated through this second chain.
