It is narrated from Hazrat Adi (may Allah be pleased with him) that once I submitted to the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) that our area is a hunting area. One of us throws an arrow at the game, and the game remains hidden from him for a day or two, then he finds it and his arrow is lodged in its body. What is the ruling about it? The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: If you see your arrow in it and no beast has eaten it, then you may eat it. The previous hadith is also narrated through this second chain.
