It is narrated from Hazrat Urwah al-Bariqi (may Allah be pleased with him) that once the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) learned that some goats had arrived. He gave me a dinar and sent me to buy a goat. I went there, bargained with the owner of the goats, and bought two goats for one dinar. I drove them along, and on the way, I met a man who bargained with me. I sold him one goat for one dinar. Then, taking the dinar and one goat, I presented myself before the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) and said, "O Messenger of Allah! Here is your dinar and here is your goat." The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) asked, "How did this happen?" I told him the whole story. The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "O Allah, bless him in the dealings of his right hand." After that, there came a time when I stood at the garbage dump of Kufa and, before reaching home, earned a profit of forty thousand. It should be noted that Hazrat Urwah (may Allah be pleased with him) used to trade in slave girls.
