حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ ، عَنِ الْعَيْزَارِ ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ بْنِ جَعْدٍ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " الْخَيْلُ مَعْقُودٌ فِي نَوَاصِيهَا الْخَيْرُ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Urwah al-Bariqi (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Goodness, blessing, reward, and spoils of war have been tied to the forelocks of horses until the Day of Resurrection."
