It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that people used to leave after performing Hajj in whatever manner they wished. Upon this, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "No person should return until his last act is the circumambulation (Tawaf) of the House of Allah (the Ka'bah)."
