حَدِيثُ عُرْوَةَ بْنِ أَبِي الْجَعْدِ الْبَارِقِيِّ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَHadith of Urwah ibn Abi al-Ja'd al-Bariqi from the Prophet (peace be upon him)

حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ ، أَخْبَرَنَا حُصَيْنٌ ، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ الْبَارِقِيِّ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " الْخَيْلُ مَعْقُودٌ بِنَوَاصِيهَا الْخَيْرُ وَالْأَجْرُ وَالْمَغْنَمُ إِلَى يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Urwah al-Bariqi (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Goodness, blessing, reward, and spoils of war have been tied to the forelocks of horses until the Day of Resurrection."
