قَالَ عَبْدُ اللهِ : حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مُعَاوِيَةَ بْنِ عَاصِمِ بْنِ الْمُنْذِرِ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ ، حَدَّثَنَا سَلَّامٌ أَبُو الْمُنْذِرِ الْقَارِئُ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَاصِمُ بْنُ بَهْدَلَةَ ، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ ، أَوْ خَيْثَمَةَ ، عَنِ النُّعْمَانِ بْنِ بَشِيرٍ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " إِنَّمَا مَثَلُ الْمُسْلِمِينَ كَالرَّجُلِ الْوَاحِدِ ، إِذَا وَجِعَ مِنْهُ شَيْءٌ ، تَدَاعَى لَهُ سَائِرُ جَسَدِهِ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Nu'man (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: The example of a believer is like that of a body; if any part of the body is in pain, the whole body feels the pain.
