حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ . وَحَجَّاجٌ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ ، عَنِ النَّضْرِ بْنِ أَنَسٍ ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَرْقَمَ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِلْأَنْصَارِ ، وَلِأَبْنَاءِ الْأَنْصَارِ ، وَلِأَبْنَاءِ أَبْنَاءِ الْأَنْصَارِ " . .
It is narrated from Hazrat Zaid (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: O Allah! Forgive the Ansar, their sons, and their grandsons. The previous hadith is also narrated through this second chain of transmission.
