حَدَّثَنَا أَسْوَدُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ ، أَخْبَرَنَا جَعْفَرٌ الْأَحْمَرُ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ ابْنِ حَكِيمٍ ، قَالَ : صَلَّيْتُ خَلْفَ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَرْقَمَ عَلَى جِنَازَةٍ ، فَكَبَّرَ خَمْسًا ، ثُمَّ الْتَفَتَ ، فَقَالَ : هَكَذَا كَبَّرَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَوْ نَبِيُّكُمْ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ .
Abdul Aziz bin Hakeem says that I offered the funeral prayer behind Hazrat Zaid bin Arqam (may Allah be pleased with him). He said five takbirs in it, then turned towards the people and said: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) also used to say takbirs in this manner.
