حَدَّثَنَا حَدَّثَنَا حُسَيْنٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ مُرَّةَ ، : سَمِعْتُ أَبَا حَمْزَةَ رَجُلًا مِنَ الْأَنْصَارِ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ زَيْدَ بْنَ أَرْقَمَ ، يَقُولُ : أَوَّلُ مَنْ صَلَّى مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَلِيٌّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ . قَالَ عَمْرٌو : فَذَكَرْتُ ذَلِكَ لِإِبْرَاهِيمَ ، فَأَنْكَرَهُ ، وَقَالَ : أَبُو بَكْرٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ.
It is narrated from Hazrat Zaid bin Arqam (may Allah be pleased with him) that among the children, Hazrat Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) was the first to pray with the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him).
