حَدَّثَنَا أَسْوَدُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا شَرِيكٌ ، عَنْ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ أَبِي زُرْعَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلْمَانَ الْمُؤَذِّنِ ، قَالَ : تُوُفِّيَ أَبُو سَرِيحَةَ ، فَصَلَّى عَلَيْهِ زَيْدُ بْنُ أَرْقَمَ ، فَكَبَّرَ عَلَيْهِ أَرْبَعًا ، وَقَالَ : كَذَا فَعَلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ .
Abu Salman, the muezzin, says that when Abu Sarihah passed away, Hazrat Zaid bin Arqam (may Allah be pleased with him) led his funeral prayer and said four takbirs, and said that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to do the same.
