It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that during the blessed era of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), a man passed away who had no heir except for a slave whom he had set free. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) granted his inheritance to that very slave.
