تتمہ مُسْنَدِ الْكُوفِيِّينَContinuation of Musnad of the Kufans
وَمِنْ حَدِيثِ جَرِيرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَAnd from the hadith of Jarir ibn Abdullah from the Prophet (peace be upon him)

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سَعِيدٍ مَوْلَى بَنِي هَاشِمٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا زَائِدَةُ ، حَدَّثَنَا زِيَادُ بْنُ عِلَاقَةَ ، عَنْ جَرِيرٍ ، قَالَ : قَالَ لِي حَبْرٌ بِالْيَمَنِ : " إِنْ كَانَ صَاحِبُكُمْ نَبِيًّا فَقَدْ مَاتَ الْيَوْمَ " . قَالَ جَرِيرٌ : فَمَاتَ يَوْمَ الِاثْنَيْنِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ.
It is narrated from Hazrat Jarir (may Allah be pleased with him) that a prominent Christian priest from Yemen said to me, "If your companion is truly a Prophet, he will pass away today." Accordingly, the Noble Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) departed from this world on that very day, which was a Monday.
