حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ ، عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ قَيْسًا ، يَقُولُ : سَمِعْتُ الصُّنَابِحِيَّ الْأَحْمَسِيَّ ، يَقُولُ : سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ : " أَلَا إِنِّي فَرَطُكُمْ عَلَى الْحَوْضِ ، وَإِنِّي مُكَاثِرٌ بِكُمْ الْأُمَمَ ، فَلَا تَقْتَتِلُنَّ بَعْدِي " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Sanabahi (may Allah be pleased with him) that I heard the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) saying: Behold! I will be waiting for you at the Pond of Kawthar, and I will take pride in your numbers over the other nations. Therefore, do not start killing one another after me.
