حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ الشَّعْبِيَّ ، قَالَ : أَشْهَدُ عَلَى أَبِي سَعِيدِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ " أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَرَّتْ بِهِ جِنَازَةٌ ، فَقَامَ " .
Imam Sha'bi, may Allah have mercy on him, says that I bear witness that I heard from Hazrat Abu Sa'id bin Zaid, may Allah be pleased with him, that once a funeral passed near the Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, so he, peace and blessings be upon him, stood up.
