حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ ، عَنْ وُهَيْبٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي وَاقِدٍ اللَّيْثِيِّ ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو أَرْوَى ، قَالَ : " كُنْتُ أُصَلِّي مَعَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الْعَصْرَ ، ثُمَّ آتِي الشَّجَرَةَ قَبْلَ غُرُوبِ الشَّمْسِ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that I used to perform the Asr prayer with the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), then I would reach my place before the sun had set.
