حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو النَّضْرِ ، حَدَّثَنَا شَيْبَانُ ، عَنْ زِيَادِ بْنِ عِلَاقَةَ ، عَنْ عَرْفَجَةَ بْنِ شُرَيْحٍ الْأَسْلَمِيِّ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " إِنَّهَا سَتَكُونُ بَعْدِي هَنَاتٌ وَهَنَاتٌ " ، وَرَفَعَ يَدَيْهِ " فَمَنْ رَأَيْتُمُوهُ يُفَرِّقُ بَيْنَ أُمَّةِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَهُمْ جَمِيعٌ ، فَاقْتُلُوهُ كَائِنًا مَنْ كَانَ مِنَ النَّاسِ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Arfajah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Soon there will be turmoil and tribulations, so whoever seeks to create division among the Muslims "while they are united and in agreement," then strike his neck with the sword, whoever he may be.
