حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ ، عَنِ ابْنِ خُثَيْمٍ ، عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ بْنِ رِفَاعَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " مَوْلَى الْقَوْمِ مِنْهُمْ ، وَابْنُ أُخْتِهِمْ مِنْهُمْ ، وَحَلِيفُهُمْ مِنْهُمْ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Rifa’ah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet said: The freed slave of a people is counted among them, and likewise, a nephew and an ally are also counted among that people.
