Hadith 18874

It is narrated from Hazrat Wa'il (may Allah be pleased with him) that a bucket was presented to the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) drank some water from it and rinsed his mouth in the bucket, then poured the bucket into the well, or after drinking water from the bucket, rinsed his mouth into the well, due to which the well began to smell fragrant like musk, and after removing the bucket, he cleaned his nose.
