It is narrated from Hazrat Wa'il (may Allah be pleased with him) that I saw the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) placing his right hand over his left hand near the wrists during prayer, and when starting the prayer, he would raise his hands up to his ears. And I have offered prayer behind him (peace and blessings be upon him); after reciting "wa la ad-dallin," he said "Ameen" aloud.
