حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ الرَّقِّيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا الْحَجَّاجُ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْجَبَّارِ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، قَالَ : " اسْتُكْرِهَتْ امْرَأَةٌ عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَدَرَأَ عَنْهَا الْحَدَّ ، وَأَقَامَهُ عَلَى الَّذِي أَصَابَهَا ، وَلَمْ يَذْكُرْ أَنَّهُ جَعَلَ لَهَا مَهْرًا " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Wa'il (may Allah be pleased with him) that during the blessed era of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), an incident of forced adultery occurred with a woman. The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) pardoned the woman from punishment and imposed the punishment on the man. The narrator did not mention whether the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) also fixed a dowry for her (or not?).
