حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا الْحَجَّاجُ . وَيَزِيدُ ، عَنِ الْحَجَّاجِ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْجَبَّارِ بْنِ وَائِلٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، قَالَ : كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَقَالَ يَزِيدُ : رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَضَعُ أَنْفَهُ عَلَى الأْرْضِ إِذَا سَجَدَ مَعَ جَبْهَتِهِ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Wa'il (may Allah be pleased with him) that I saw the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) that when he performed prostration, he would prostrate on his nose and forehead.
