حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ مُرَّةَ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ أَبَا الْبَخْتَرِيِّ الطَّائِيَّ يُحَدِّثُ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْيَحْصُبِيِّ ، عَنْ وَائِلِ بْنِ حُجْرٍ الْحَضْرَمِيّ : " أَنَّهُ صَلَّى مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَكَانَ يُكَبِّرُ إِذَا خَفَضَ وَإِذَا رَفَعَ ، وَيَرْفَعُ يَدَيْهِ عِنْدَ التَّكْبِيرِ ، وَيُسَلِّمُ عَنْ يَمِينِهِ وَعَنْ يَسَارِهِ " . قَالَ شُعْبَةُ : قَالَ لِي أَبَانُ يَعْنِي ابْنَ تَغْلِبَ فِي الْحَدِيثِ : حَتَّى يَبْدُوَ وَضَحُ وَجْهِهِ ، فَقُلْتُ : لِعَمْرٍو أَفِي الْحَدِيثِ حَتَّى يَبْدُوَ وَضَحُ وَجْهِهِ ؟ فَقَالَ عَمْرٌو : أَوْ نَحْوَ ذَلِكَ.
It is narrated from Hazrat Wa'il (may Allah be pleased with him) that he prayed with the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would say takbeer every time he bowed and rose, and he would raise his hands while saying takbeer, and he would turn to both the right and left sides when saying salam.
