حَدِيثُ وَائِلِ بْنِ حُجْرٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى عَنْهُHadith of Wa'il ibn Hujr (may Allah be pleased with him)
Hadith 18851

حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا مِسْعَرٌ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ الْجَبَّارِ بْنَ وَائِلٍ يَذْكُرُ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، " أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أُتِيَ بِدَلْوٍ مِنْ مَاءٍ ، فَشَرِبَ مِنْهُ ، ثُمَّ مَجَّ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Wa'il (may Allah be pleased with him) that a bucket was presented to the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) drank some water from it and rinsed his mouth in the bucket, then turned the bucket upside down into the well.
