حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا شَرِيكٌ ، عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ كُلَيْبٍ ، عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ بْنِ وَائِلِ بْنِ حُجْرٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، قَالَ : أَتَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي الشِّتَاءِ قَالَ : فَرَأَيْتُ أَصْحَابَهُ يَرْفَعُونَ أَيْدِيَهُمْ فِي ثِيَابِهِمْ .
It is narrated from Hazrat Wa'il (may Allah be pleased with him) that I came to the service of the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) during the winter season, and I saw the noble companions (may Allah be pleased with them) raising their hands from inside their cloaks.
