حَدَّثَنَا حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ قَيْسِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ ، عَنْ طَارِقِ بْنِ شِهَابٍ ، قَالَ : " رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، وَغَزَوْتُ فِي خِلاَفَةِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرَ ثَلاَثًا وَثَلَاثِينَ أَوْ ثَلَاَثًا وَأَرْبَعِينَ مِنْ غَزْوَةٍ إِلَى سَرِيَّةٍ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Tariq (may Allah be pleased with him) that I have seen the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and during the caliphate of the two Shaykhs (may Allah be pleased with them), I also had the honor of participating in more than thirty or forty expeditions and campaigns.
