It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade that garment which is made entirely of silk. However, Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) says that if the warp or the embroidery of a garment is of silk, then in our opinion there is no harm in it.
