It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "An evil example is not for us. Whoever asks for a gift back after giving it is like a dog that vomits and then licks it up again."
