حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ ، وَابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ ، قَالاَ : حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى ، عَن عَدِيِّ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ ، عَنِ الْبَرَاءِ بْنِ عَازِبٍ قَالَ يَزِيدُ : إِنَّ عَدِيَّ بْنَ ثَابِتٍ أَخْبَرَهُ ، أَنَّ الْبَرَاءَ بْنَ عَازِبٍ أَخْبَرَهُ ، أَنَّهُ صَلَّى وَرَاءَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الْعِشَاءَ قَالَ ابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ : الْآخِرَةَ " وَقَرَأَ فِيهَا ب التِّينِ وَالزَّيْتُونِ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Bara’ (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was on a journey. In one rak‘ah of the ‘Isha prayer, he (peace be upon him) recited Surah Wat-Teen.
