Hadith 18697

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا الشَّيْبَانِيُّ ، عَن عَدِيِّ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ ، عَنِ الْبَرَاءِ بْنِ عَازِبٍ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لِحَسَّانَ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ " اهْجُ الْمُشْرِكِينَ ، فَإِنَّ جِبْرِيلَ مَعَكَ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Bara’ (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to Hazrat Hassan bin Thabit (may Allah be pleased with him): Satirize the polytheists, Gabriel is with you.
