Hadith 18677

حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا الْحَجَّاجُ ، عَن أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ ، عَن الْبَرَاءِ بْنِ عَازِبٍ ، قَالَ : سُئِلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنِ الْكَلَالَةِ ، فَقَالَ : " تَكْفِيكَ آيَةُ الصَّيْفِ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Bara’ (may Allah be pleased with him) that a man came to the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) and asked about "kalalah." The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: The verse revealed to you in the summer is sufficient for this matter (referring to the last verse of Surah An-Nisa).
