حَدِيثُ الْبَرَاءِ بْنِ عَازِبٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى عَنْهُHadith of al-Bara’ ibn ‘Azib (may Allah be pleased with him)
Hadith 18666

حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، عَن سُفْيَانَ ، عَن أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ ، عَنِ الْبَرَاءِ ، قَالَ : " مَا رَأَيْتُ مِنْ ذِي لِمَّةٍ أَحْسَنَ فِي حُلَّةٍ حَمْرَاءَ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، لَهُ شَعْرٌ يَضْرِبُ مَنْكِبَيْهِ ، بَعِيدُ مَا بَيْنَ الْمَنْكِبَيْنِ ، لَيْسَ بِالطَّوِيلِ وَلَا بِالْقَصِيرِ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Bara’ (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was wearing a red garment. I have not seen anyone among all creation more beautiful than him in that garment, peace and blessings be upon him, and his hair reached his shoulders.
