Hadith 18660

حَدَّثَنَا أَسْوَدُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ ، أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْرَائِيلُ ، عَن أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ ، عَن عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ ، عَنِ الْبَرَاءِ بْنِ عَازِبٍ ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ إِذَا نَامَ ، وَضَعَ يَدَهُ الْيُمْنَى تَحْتَ خَدِّهِ ، وَقَالَ : " اللَّهُمَّ قِنِي عَذَابَكَ يَوْمَ تَبْعَثُ عِبَادَكَ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Bara’ (may Allah be pleased with him) that when the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) intended to sleep, he would make his right hand a pillow and recite this supplication: O Allah! On the day You gather Your servants, protect me from Your punishment.
