It is narrated from Hazrat Bara’ (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) commanded us to do seven things and forbade us from seven things. Then, while mentioning the things he commanded, he mentioned visiting the sick, following the funeral, responding to one who sneezes, replying to greetings, supporting one who swears an oath, accepting invitations, and helping the oppressed. And the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade us from (using) silver vessels, gold rings, istabraq, harir, dibaj (all three are types of silk), red saddle cloths, and silk mixed with linen.
