حَدِيثُ الْبَرَاءِ بْنِ عَازِبٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى عَنْهُHadith of al-Bara’ ibn ‘Azib (may Allah be pleased with him)
Hadith 18632

حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ ، أَخْبَرَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَن أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ ، عَن الرَّبِيعِ بْنِ الْبَرَاءِ ، عَن أَبِيهِ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ كَانَ إِذَا رَجَعَ مِنْ سَفَرٍ ، قَالَ : " آيِبُونَ تَائِبُونَ عَابِدُونَ لِرَبِّنَا حَامِدُونَ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Bara’ (may Allah be pleased with him) that whenever the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) returned from a journey, he would recite this supplication: "We are returning in repentance, and we are worshippers of our Lord and praisers of Him."
