Hadith 18625

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ ، عَن الْمِنْهَالِ ، عَن زَاذَانَ ، عَن الْبَرَاءِ بْنِ عَازِبٍ ، قَالَ : " خَرَجْنَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي جِنَازَةٍ ، فَوَجَدْنَا الْقَبْرَ ، وَلَمَّا يُلْحَدْ ، فَجَلَسَ وَجَلَسْنَا " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Bara’ (may Allah be pleased with him) that once we went out with the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) for a funeral. When we reached near the grave, the niche had not yet been prepared, so the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) sat down, and we also sat around him.
