Hadith 18581

حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ ، عَنِ الْعَوَّامِ ، عَنْ عَزْرَةَ ، عَنِ الْبَرَاءِ بْنِ عَازِبٍ ، قَالَ : " كُنَّا إِذَا صَلَّيْنَا خَلْفَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قُمْنَا صُفُوفًا حَتَّى إِذَا سَجَدَ ، تَبِعْنَاهُ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Bara bin Azib (may Allah be pleased with him) that when we used to pray behind the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him), we would stand in rows, and when he (peace be upon him) went into prostration, then we would follow him.
