حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ عَدِيِّ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ ، عَنِ الْبَرَاءِ ، قَالَ : رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَاضِعًا الْحَسَنَ بْنَ عَلِيٍّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ عَلَى عَاتِقِهِ وَهُوَ يَقُولُ : " اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أُحِبُّهُ فَأَحِبَّهُ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Bara bin Azib (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) once had Hazrat Imam Hasan (may Allah be pleased with him) on his shoulder and was saying: O Allah, I love him, so You also love him.
