Hadith 18566

حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ ، أَخْبَرَنَا مِسْعَرٌ ، عَنْ عَدِيِّ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ ، عَنِ الْبَرَاءِ بْنِ عَازِبٍ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " يَقْرَأُ فِي صَلَاةِ الْعِشَاءِ ب التِّينِ وَالزَّيْتُونِ ، قَالَ : وَمَا سَمِعْتُ إِنْسَانًا أَحْسَنَ قِرَاءَةً مِنْهُ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Bara bin Azib (may Allah be pleased with him) that I heard the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) reciting Surah Wat-Teen in one rak'ah of the Isha prayer. I have not heard anyone recite better than him.
