It is narrated from Hazrat Bara’ (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) instructed an Ansari that when he comes to his bed, he should say: O Allah, I have submitted myself to You, I have turned my face towards You, I have entrusted my affairs to You, and I have relied on You alone for support. My desire is for You, and I fear You. There is no refuge or sanctuary except with You. I have believed in Your Book which You have revealed and in Your Prophet whom You have sent. If the one who says these words dies that night, he will die upon the natural faith. If he reaches the morning, he will reach it with abundant goodness.
