حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ ، أَنْبَأَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ ، عَنْ مُسْلِمِ بْنِ صُبَيْحٍ ، قَالَ الْأَعْمَشُ : أُرَاهُ عَنِ الْبَرَاءِ بْنِ عَازِبٍ ، قَالَ : مَاتَ إِبْرَاهِيمُ ابْنُ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَهُوَ ابْنُ سِتَّةَ عَشَرَ شَهْرًا ، فَأَمَرَ بِهِ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنْ يُدْفَنَ فِي الْبَقِيعِ ، وَقَالَ : " إِنَّ لَهُ مُرْضِعًا تُرْضِعُهُ فِي الْجَنَّةِ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Bara’ (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) led the funeral prayer for his son Hazrat Ibrahim (may Allah be pleased with him), who passed away at the age of only sixteen months. Then he ordered him to be buried in Jannat al-Baqi‘ and said: “A wet nurse has been appointed for him in Paradise who will complete his period of suckling.”
