حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا قَنَانُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ النَّهْمِيُّ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَوْسَجَةَ ، عَنِ الْبَرَاءِ بْنِ عَازِبٍ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " أَفْشُوا السَّلَامَ تَسْلَمُوا ، وَالْأَشَرَةُ شَرُّ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Bara' (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Spread the greeting of peace, you will remain in safety, and arrogance is the worst thing.
