Hadith 1843

Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that once I stayed the night at the house of my maternal aunt, Umm al-Mu'mineen Sayyidah Maymunah bint Harith (may Allah be pleased with her). That night, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was also staying there. During the night, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) stood up to pray, so I also stood on his left side to join the prayer. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) took hold of a lock of my hair and moved me to his right side.
