Hadith 18416

حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ ، وَسُرَيْجٌ ، قَالاَ : حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ ، عَنْ سِمَاكِ بْنِ حَرْبٍ ، عَنِ النُّعْمَانِ بْنِ بَشِيرٍ ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، وَقَالَ سُرَيْجٌ فِي حَدِيثِهِ : سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ : " مَثَلُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ كَمَثَلِ الْجَسَدِ ، إِذَا أَلِمَ بَعْضُهُ تَدَاعَى سَائِرُهُ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Nu'man (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: The example of a believer is like that of a body; if the head is in pain, the whole body feels the pain.
