It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that once the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) performed Tawaf while riding his camel and touched the Black Stone with a stick that he had with him. Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) came to a well and said: "Give me water to drink." The people said: "People descend into this well; we will bring you water from the House of Allah." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "There is no need for that; give me water from the same place where ordinary people drink from."
