حَدَّثَنَا حُسَيْنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ ، عَنْ زَائِدَةَ ، عَنْ سِمَاكٍ ، عَنِ النُّعْمَانِ بْنِ بَشِيرٍ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " مَثَلُ الْمُجَاهِدِ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ ، كَمَثَلِ الصَّائِمِ نَهَارَهُ ، وَالْقَائِمِ لَيْلَهُ حَتَّى يَرْجِعَ مَتَى يَرْجِعُ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Nu'man (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: The example of the one who strives in the path of Allah is like that person who fasts during the day and stands in prayer at night, "as long as he does not return, whenever he may return."
