حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو إِسْحَاقَ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ النُّعْمَانَ بْنَ بَشِيرٍ يَخْطُبُ وَهُوَ يَقُولُ : سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ : " إِنَّ أَهْوَنَ أَهْلِ النَّارِ عَذَابًا يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ : رَجُلٌ يُجْعَلُ فِي أَخْمَصِ قَدَمَيْهِ نَعْلَانِ مِنْ نَارٍ ، يَغْلِي مِنْهُمَا دِمَاغُهُ " .
Hazrat Nu'man (may Allah be pleased with him) once said while delivering a sermon that I heard the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say: On the Day of Resurrection, the lightest punishment will be for the person who will have shoes of fire put on his feet, and from them his brain will be boiling.
